Betty Jane McManus Schneck, 69, 101 Derek Drive, passed away on Sunday at her home.
Betty was born in Cumberland County on Aug. 12, 1938, to the late R.A. McManus and Mary Lewis McManus.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by her funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Stovall officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Betty is survived by her husband, Harold Schneck; her daughter, Sonya Schneck Rhodes and husband, Philip, of Goldsboro; her brothers, Jimmy McManus and wife, Rachael, and Danny McManus, all of Fayetteville; her sister, June McLaurin and husband, David of Tallahassee, Fla.; and her grandchildren, Michael Schneck, Sarah Rhodes, P.J. Rhodes, Mary Beth Rhodes, Hannah Rhodes and Karrigann Rhodes.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael J. Schneck, and a grandson, Zachary J. Rhodes.
