LOUISE FRICK

Margaret Louise Frick, 85, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at the Hartland of Columbia in Columbia, S.C.
Louise was born in Rowan County on May 9, 1923 to the late Joseph Dietrick Frick and Ethel Beatrice Cox Frick. She had owned and operated the Frick Tailor Shop. Louise was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church and had worked as a bookkeeper for the church for many years.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Norris, O.S.F.S presiding. Burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Louise is survived by her sisters, Doris Monk of Goldsboro, Norma Williams of Fayetteville, Ruth Gawlak of Goldsboro and Julia Burtis of Columbia, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Creech; and her brothers, Joe Frick, Edwin Frick, Robert Frick, Arnold Frick and Hubert Frick.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 1000 N. Jefferson St., Goldsboro, N.C. 27534.
The family will receive friends Monday from 10:15 to 11 a.m. in the vestibule of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church.
