Mr. William James Ward Sr., 69, lovingly known by his family and friends as "Jim," 29 Perkins Mill Road, went
to be with the Lord on Wednesday night, after a long battle with kidney disease.
Mr. Ward's final service and disposition will be held in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Jim is survived by his wife of 49 years, Althea; his three sons, William Jr., Christopher, and Patrick; his two daughters-in-law, Carol and Jan; and his three grand children, Matthew, Jeremy, and Amy.
The family will be receiving other family members and friends at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Ward, 215 Nottingham Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
