DUDLEY -- Paul Nicholas "Nick" Smith, 63, 3042 Emmaus Church Road, died Wednesday morning at his home.
Graveside services will be held on Friday at 3 p.m. at Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive. The Rev. Richard Hathaway will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home from 7 until 8:30 p.m. today. At other times, they will be at the Jimmy Smith residence at 338 Perkins Mill Road, Goldsboro.
Mr. Smith is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Mary Smith of Goldsboro; two nephews, Mark Smith and wife Kathy of Grantham, and Scott Smith and wife, Kimberly of Mount Olive; and two great-nephews, Austin and Cody Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul G. and Ethel Lane Smith.
He retired from the N.C. Department of Transportation where he had been a truck driver.
