GALE CREECH

STATESVILLE -- Linda Jones "Gale" Creech, 61, 496 Ridgeway Avenue, died Tuesday at her residence.
Funeral service celebrating Gale's life will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Creech was born on May 10, 1947, in Wilson County, and was the daughter of the late Lester and Lucille Lamb Jones. She was a retired choral director from North Iredell High School and a member of Horizon Church where she was a part of the worship team and active in the music of the church.
Gale is survived by her husband of 36 years, Rodney Creech whom she married on Dec. 19, 1971. She is also survived by two brothers, Jimmy Jones and wife Nellie of Cary and Donald Jones and wife Myra of Kenley.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1:45 p.m. on Saturday at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home prior to the service and at other times will be at the residence.
