RALEIGH -- Mr. Samuel Myers, 83, 600 Seventh St., Kenly, died July 11 at Rex Hospital.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, 300 N. Gardner Ave., Kenly. Burial will follow at St. Delight Church cemetery. A wake will be Friday night 7:30 until 8:30 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church in Selma.
Mr. Myers was the son of the late George Myers and Mary Benjamin Lane.
He is survived by one sister, one brother, two daughters, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Walter Sanders Funeral Home.
