MILDRED T. TWYMAN

JACKSONVILLE -- Mildred Tallman Twyman, 85, died July 14, 2008, at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, with burial to follow in the Jacksonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2 until 3 p.m.
Mrs. Twyman was a retired civil service examiner in charge with the Post Office. She had been a member of Trinity United Methodist Church since 1932 and a lifelong member of the Women's Society of Christian Service of the Methodist Church. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was the daughter of Rendell R. Tallman and Viola Martin Tallman of Jacksonville and the sister of R.F., Donald and Dick Tallman.
Mrs. Twyman was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Gordon Twyman of Jacksonville.
She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Twyman Smith and her husband, Steve, of Goldsboro; grandsons, Joshua Gordon Smith and wife, Jamie, of Goldsboro and Troy Issac Smith of Goldsboro; and special friend, Meagan Tucker.
