MOUNT OLIVE -- Essie Pearl Oates, 82, 204 Elmore St., died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Luke Disciple Church of Christ with the Rev. L.D. Melvin officiating. Burial will follow in the Wayne Memorial Park.
She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lillie Williams Darden.
Viewing will be held today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel.
