Lisa Brown Mosier, 47, passed away on Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Todd Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Lisa was born in Wayne County on May 3, 1961, to Hugh Allen Brown and Dora Strickland Brown of Goldsboro. She was a 1979 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School. Lisa worked with Wal-Mart Super Store in Goldsboro.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Hugh Allen Brown II and wife, Beverly of Pink Hill; her sister, Tereasa B. Segraves and husband, Tommy of LaGrange; her fiance, Dale Duncan of the home; her nephew, Trey Brown III of Patetown; her nieces, Christina Segraves and Heather Segraves of LaGrange, and Holly Brown of Pink Hill; two great-nieces, Destiny and Nevaeh Jackson of LaGrange; and her beloved and faithful canine companion, Feisty. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Eunice and William Strickland of Barnesville, Ga., and her paternal grandparents, Richard and Blanche Brown of Lenoir.

Memorials may be made in her memory to the Wayne Uplift Domestic-Violence Fund, 719 E. Ash St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27534 or the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C., 27834 or the Wayne County Humane Society, P.O. Box 821, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her residence, 101 Twin Drive, Goldsboro.
