GREENVILLE -- Mrs. Faye Louise Pearson, 79, formerly of Walnut Creek, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at the Sterling House surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Pearson was born in Mahanoy City, Pa., on Sept. 7, 1928, to the late John Robert Scholes and Mae Sullivan Scholes. She was married to the late Lt. Col. Frederick Robert Pearson, Retired, U.S.A.F. Mrs. Pearson retired as a registered nurse at Wayne Memorial Hospital with 22 years of service. She had also been a member of the Officer's Wives Club at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.

A memorial service will be Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, of which she was a member. The Rev. William Ordelt will officiate.

Mrs. Pearson is survived by her daughter, Nan Price and husband, Eddie, of Ayden; her son, Fred Pearson and wife, Donna, of Summerfield, N.C.; her brother, Dr. Robert Scholes of Lebanon, Pa.; her sister, Margie Schwartz of Briar Cliff Manor, N.Y.; her grandchildren, Ashlie Pearson and Megan Pearson; and her stepgrandchildren, Joshua Price, Wendy Pierce and Heather Lister.
