James Anwar Brewington, 29, of Goldsboro died Saturday.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
There will be no public viewing.
He is survived by his wife, Megan Oaten Brewington, and one child.
