KANNAPOLIS, N.C. -- Mr. Charles C. Wagner Jr., 86, of 2120 Englewood St., died Friday, June 13, at his home.
The funeral will take place at 3:30 p.m. today, June 15, at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel in Kannapolis with the Rev. Ric Durham officiating. The family will receive friends at Whitley's from 1:30 to 3:30 before the service with burial to take place at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
Mr. Wagner was the son of the late Charles C. Wagner Sr. and Ina McCombs Wagner and was a lifetime resident of this area. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army. He worked as an electronic and appliance repairman.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Johnson Wagner; son Ronald G. Wagner of Kannapolis; and a daughter, Rebecca W. Stewart of Goldsboro. He is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
