BROWNIE J. BRUTON

WILSON -- Brownie Johnson Bruton, 87, died Saturday, June 14, 2008.
She was the widow of John B. Bruton Jr., and a native of the Faro community near Eureka. Her parents were John William and Minnie Evans Johnson.
The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Maplewood Cemetery, Section 1.
Surviving is a daughter, Caroline Bruton Poythress and husband, Royce, of Wilson; granddaughter, Janet Poythress Beaver and husband, Chad, of Wilson; great-granddaughter, Caroline Bruton Beaver; brother, Ralph E. Johnson of New York City.
The family will be at the Poythress home.
