NAPLES, Fla. -- Marcia Young Houser, 71, died June 5, 2008.
A memorial service will be held in Goldsboro, N.C.
Marcia loved her family and friends. She never met a stranger. She will be fondly remembered for her warmth, kindness and sense of humor.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Matt and Helen Houser of Chicago, Ill., and John and Karen Houser of St. Petersburg, Fla.; her daughter and son-in-law, Emily and Hunt Allen of Charlotte, N.C.; five grandchildren, Matthew, Jack, Victoria, Lauren and Huntley; brother and sister-in-law, Samuel and Bonnie Young of Marco Island, Fla.; and many nieces, nephews and life-long friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jack Houser, and sister, Elizabeth Young Winter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Avow Hospice, 1095 Whip-poorwill Lane, Naples, Fla., 34105, or St. Paul United Methodist Church, 204 E Chestnut St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
