Simon Kennon Sr., 90, 1700 Wayne Memorial Drive, died June 2 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The homegoing service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Church of God and True Holiness. He will be laid to rest in Wayne Memorial Park.
To cherish a beautiful legacy of faith he leaves daughters, Lillian Williams of Goldsboro, Helen Kennon of Covington, Ga., Dolly Scott of Goldsboro, Marian Daniels of Goldsboro, Wynette Page of Goldsboro and Cowania Sampson of Goldsboro; son, Simon S. Kennon Jr. of Goldsboro; 22 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 6 at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro with the family present to receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will also receive friends at the home of his daughter Dolly Scott, 2719 Issac Drive, and will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
