ELIZABETH CITY -- Shirley Ann Wilson Smith, 72, 761-2 Okisko Road, died Thursday, June 5, 2008, at her residence.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Goldsboro.
A native of Detroit, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Morris Wilson and Margaret Theresa Shick Wilson. She was retired civilian from a U.S. Air Force Base.
Mrs. Smith is survived by two daughters, Barbara Douglas and husband, Danny, of Elizabeth City, N.C., and Betty Johnson of Goldsboro, N.C.; two sons, Thomas Smith and wife, Tammy, of Princeton, N.C., and Tony Smith of Goldsboro, N.C.; one sister, Jenny Wilson of Southern Pines, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a sister, Marge Farrerr, and a brother, Robert Wilson.
