WILLIE J. MCKEEL

Willie Junior McKeel, 64, died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He was born to the late Fred and Susie R. McKeel and was married to Dorothy Bailey McKeel. He was retired from Kemp Furniture.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev.Thomas McLendon officiating. Burial followed in Wayne Memorial Park.
Along with his wife, he is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Tammy McKeel of Dudley and Mark McKeel of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two daughters and son-in-law, Doris Nichols of Goldsboro and Betty and Steve Ludwig of Goldsboro; three sisters, Virginia Person and Margaret Martin of Goldsboro and Joann Corbett of Dudley; and six grandchildren.
Family members greeted friends Saturday night from 7 until 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
Pallbearers were Bobby Barfield, Johnny Pipkin, Joseph Stafford, Willie Person, Willie Person Jr., Jimmy Nichols, Harold Person and David Taylor.
