WILLIE J. MCKEEL

Willie Junior McKeel, 64, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was born to the late Fred and Susie R. McKeel and was married to Dorothy Bailey McKeel. He was retired from Kemp Furniture.

The funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Thomas McLendon officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Along with his wife, he is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ralph and Tammy McKeel of Dudley and Mark McKeel of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Doris Nichols of Goldsboro and Betty and Steve Ludwig of Goldsboro; three sisters, Virginia Person and Margaret Person of Goldsboro and Joann Corbett of Dudley; and six grandchildren.

Family members will greet friends Saturday night from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Barfield, Johnny Pipkin, Joseph Stafford, Willie Person, Willie Person Jr., Jimmy Nichols, Harold Person and David Taylor.

Flowers are welcome and the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to his wife, Mrs. Dorothy McKeel, P.O. Box 167, Goldsboro, NC 27533.
