B.C. WALLER

Feb. 17, 1928-May 24, 2008

B.C. Waller went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends.

B.C. was born on Feb. 17, 1928, in Lenoir County to the late James Waller and Clyde Walker Waller of Kinston. He retired from the grocery business, where he worked for over 40 years. B.C. was a member of Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church. He was a mason for several years and had served his country in the United States Army. His love for woodworking earned him many friends.

The funeral will be Sunday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Barry Stallings officiating. Interment will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Pikeville Cemetery.

B.C. is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jeannette, of the home; his daughter, Connie Scott and son-in-law, Scotty, of Pikeville; his grandchildren, Jamie Scott, Kathy Scott and her special friend, Fred Tyndall, and Danny Scott and wife, Cody, of Pikeville; his great-grandchildren, Douglas and Hunter Scott; and his step-grandchildren, Jessica and Jamye Tyndall. He is also survived by his loving church family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, George Waller of Florida, James Waller, Pren-tise Waller, Marshall G. Wal-ler,and Herbert L. Waller, all of Kinston.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove F.W.B. Church, 1100 Pikeville-Princeton Road, Pikeville, N.C. 27863.

The family will receive friends Sunday following the service and other times at his home, 832 Mount Carmel Church Road, Pikeville.
