PRINCETON -- Betty Jean Griffin Stevens, 62, died Sunday night in Pitt Memorial Hospital.
No formal services are planned at this time.
Born Jan. 16, 1946, in Baltimore, Md., she was a daughter of the late Robert J. and Beatrice Clucay Griffin.
Surviving are her husband, Clifton D. Stevens; sons, Kenneth J. Stevens of Goldsboro and Barry Duane Stevens of Sunset Beach; daughters, Julie Stevens Carter of Kenly and Jill Stevens Sullivan of Princeton; brother, Bob Griffin of Buffalo, N.Y.; sister, Peggy Cross of Berkley Springs, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
