ALICE HINES SNIPES

ROSEWOOD -- Alice Hines Snipes, 75, of Charlie Braswell Road near Rosewood, died Saturday. Born in Wayne County on Feb. 9, 1933, she was the daughter of the late John Simpson and Iola Coor Hines. Her husband was the late Billy Ray Snipes. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Lyndon and Malcolm Hines, and sisters, Olivia Hines and Bessie Hines Faucette.
The funeral will be held Monday, April 28, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Surviving are two daughters, Alice Annette Snipes of Florida and Kay Snipes Bowers of Rosewood; and three grandchildren, Stephen, Hollie, and Kaitlynn Bowers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night immediately following the funeral.
Flowers are acceptable or memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
