FANNIE A. ISLER

LAGRANGE -- Fannie Anderson Isler, 78, of 6151 U.S. Highway 70 East, died Wednesday at Lenoir Memor-ial Hospital. Mrs. Isler was born in Wayne County to the late John Henry Anderson and Sally Ann Anderson. She was wife of the late Max C. Isler, and was preceded in death by a son, Max C. Isler Jr. Fannie was an avid genealogist.

Graveside services will be held Friday, April 25, 2008, at 2 p.m. from Fairview Ceme-tery with the Rev. Jerry Mitchell officiating.

Mrs. Isler is survived by three children, Phyllis Thig-pen of Leesville, S.C., Fred Isler and wife, Cheri, of La-Grange, Penny Gregory and husband, Rodney, of La-Grange; two sisters, Sadie Sullivan of Patetown, Lois Bailey of Orlando, Fla.; three brothers, Paul Anderson of Pikeville, Robert Anderson and Melvin Anderson, both of Elroy; two granddaughters, Angie Swiecki and Becky Smith; two grandsons, Mark Gregory and Steven Corbett; and three great-grandchildren, Allison Swiecki, C.J. Swiecki and Novalee Ann Smith.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home. Online condolen-
