ROBERT T. LANGLEY

PRINCETON -- Robert Theodore "Bob" Langley, 87, of Hickory Crossroads Road near Princeton, died Monday. Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Willie Bryant and Nora Bunn Langley. Mr. Langley was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Kenly American Legion. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Joy Rast.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton with burial following in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery near Princeton.

Surviving are his wife, Georgia Lewis Langley; sons, Robert Gene Langley and wife, Bobbie, of Princeton, Danny Ray Langley and wife, Donna, of Princeton; daughter, Panda L. Crocker and husband, Sheryle, of Smithfield; brothers, Bernice Langley of Princeton, Kenneth Langley of Smithfield; sisters, Jean Eatmon and Doris Daughtry, both of Smithfield; grandchildren, Bryan Langley, Sherry Gray, Jeannine Walker and Ken Crocker; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Princeton Wednesday from 2 to 3 p.m.
