SHELVA SOUTHERLAND
LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Shelva Southerland passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008. She was born in Pine Level, N.C., and resided in Nevada for the past 49 years. Shelva was a retired banker. She was also a fundraiser for Child Haven and the Andre Agassi Foundation.
Shelva is survived by her sons, Evan Southerland and wife, Melita, and Bren Southerland; her daughter, Lora Wiesenthal and husband, Greg; grandchildren, William, Ryan, Evan and Dylan, all of Las Vegas; her brother, Gerald Hinnant and wife, Sylvia, of Pine Level, N.C.; and her sister, Bonnie Hunter and husband, Bill, of Goldsboro, N.C.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at Palm Mortuary. Interment followed at Palm Memorial Park-Northwest.
Memorials may be made to Child Haven.
