DAIL BRIDGES

Effie Mae Coats Dail Bridges, 80, was promoted to Glory early Saturday at Britthaven of Goldsboro. Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late David Allen Coats and Annie Pearl Whitman Coats. She was a member of Ebenezer Bible Church of Fayetteville. Mrs. Bridges was preceded in death by sons, Morris Elvin and Donald Allen Dail.
Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Pate Cemetery in Duplin County. Pastor Albert Bean will officiate. Family members will remain at the cemetery to greet friends.
Ms. Bridges is survived by her daughter, Frances Grantham of Fayetteville, N.C.; a brother, Troy C. Coats of Garner, N.C.; a sister, Laura Wade of Pikeville, N.C.; five grandchildren, Morris Dail of Goldsboro, N.C., Jennifer Dail of Goldsboro, N.C., Christo-pher Dail of Canada, Robert A. Grantham of Wilmington, N.C., David M. Grantham of Fayetteville, N.C.; and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
