COVINGTON, Ga. -- Homegoing services for Melanie Raiford Griggs will be held in Covington, Ga. Thursday at 11 a.m.
Survivors include her husband, Howard Griggs; daughter, Devin Janelle Griggs; and son, Jared Raiford Griggs, all of the home; parents, Arthur and Shirley Raiford of Goldsboro; sister, Scottie Raiford Dowdy; and brother, Kelvin Lamont Raiford, both of Durham; uncle, Herbert Uzzell and wife, Gaynelle; and great-aunt, Bessie Carmichael, all of Goldsboro; nephews, Kendrick and Wesley Dowdy, both of Durham; and a host of relatives and friends.
