EARLIE W. GIBBS

Earlie Warden Gibbs, 99, longtime resident of North Lake Road, Fairfield, and more recently residing in Goldsboro, died Wednesday at Brookdale-Sterling House, Goldsboro. Born in Hyde County, he was the son of the late John and Cora Gibbs.
He is survived by his wife, Emily Gibbs, and two stepchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ with Leon Williams and Phil Emmert officiating. Burial will follow in the Robert Gibbs Family Cemetery on North Lake Road. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. tonight at Bryan Funeral Service, Swan Quarter.
