JAMES 'JIMMY' ROSE

Jan. 24, 1921-April 2, 2008

PRINCETON -- James "Jimmy" Arthur Rose, 87, of 305 E. First St., died Wednesday at his home. He was born in Johnston County and was the son of the late W. M. and Annie Blackmon Rose. He was a member of the Princeton United Methodist Church, Princeton Methodist Men, Princeton Lions Club and former member of the Grifton Rescue Squad.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Casey Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Coppock officiating. Committal service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Princeton Cemetery.

Mr. Rose is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Rayonell Baily Rose; daughter, Jennifer Albert of Calabash; two stepsons, Randy Hinton of Belvoir, Va., Malcolm Hinton of Princeton; two stepdaughters, Darlene Moore of Lugoff, S.C., Tammy Woodard of Princeton; one grandson; 12 step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2008, and immediately following the funeral service at Casey Funeral Home.
