FLUSHING, N.Y. -- Mary Louise Miller, 85, of 4512 Smart St., formerly of Warsaw, peacefully departed this life on Thursday at Flushing Hospital Med-ical Center. Born in Du-plin County, she was the daughter of the late Bry-ant and Min-nie Jarman Miller and was the "baby" of 22 siblings.

Mary received her education in the Duplin County Schools. Upon early adulthood, she went to New York and spent all of her adult days there. Mount Olive Baptist Church in New York was where she affiliated herself as a dedicated member.

Mary's legacy will live on in the lives of her children, Mary Biggers-McNeil of Flushing, N.Y., Harry Biggers of Warsaw; one grandson; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Life celebration services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. from the Smith Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Warsaw, with the Rev. Herman Bell officiating. Burial will follow in the Devotional Gardens.

Viewing will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel and the family will receive friends at the home of Harry Bigger, 214 S. Gum St., Warsaw.
