Linda West Smith, 58, of 337 Bartlett Road, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Eva Jones and Arthur C. West Sr. and was married to Randy Smith.
A funeral will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with Pastor Bobby Heath officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Fields and husband, Ricky, of Pikeville; two brothers, Glenn West and wife, Donna, of Louisburg and A.C. West Jr. and wife, Carol, of Dudley; two sisters, Marie Barnett and husband, Wayne, of Rosewood, and Blanche Pope of Four Oaks; and three grandchildren, Christopher Stallings, currently stationed in Iraq, Tiffany Stallings of Pikeville and Sydney Fields of Pikeville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Heister.
Family members will receive friends Sunday evening at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m., and at other times at the home.
