CALVIN E. MCCLAIN

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Calvin E. McClain, 45, entered into eternal rest Monday at Stamford Hospital, Stamford, Conn. He was born in Stamford to Alonzo S. and Evelyn M. McClain.
He was a graduate of Stamford High School, Class of 1982, and also attended Norwalk Community College and UCONN-Stamford. He was employed at ASCO Plimpton and Hill Supply Company and Bink's Auto Glass Company, both of Stamford, Conn.
In addition to his loving parents, Alonzo and Evelyn McClain of Goldsboro, N.C., he leaves to cherish his memories, a brother, Milton McClain of Bridgeport Conn.; sister, Lori A. McClain-Stover of Goldsboro, N.C.; one niece, Britney; three nephews, "Mac", Troy and Blake; as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Calvin's calling was held Thursday, March 13, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Downer Funeral Home Chapel, Stamford, and Friday, March 14, 2008, from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral services followed with pastor Herlene Field Streeter officiating. Burial at Woodland Cemetery, Stamford, Conn.
