CALVIN THOMAS BRANDON

The legendary Calvin "Skeeter" Brandon went home to be with the Lord at 9 p.m. Thursday night at Chapel Hill Hospital. He was known in the Wayne County area as the talented, blind musician and singer. He is survived by by his wife Vanessa Brandon, seven siblings; and four children, Demetris Brandon of Raleigh, Veronica Brandon of Durham, Nicole Shaw of Charlotte, and Ta-Kisha "Cricket" Darden of Goldsboro. Funeral arrangements will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Mill Hill Baptist Church in Roxboro, N.C. The viewing will be held at the Hester Whitted and Daye Funeral Home in Roxboro.
