PAULINE MARTIN JOHNSON

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Pauline Martin Johnson, born in Bentonville, N.C., died Sunday in Greenville, S.C. She was the last surviving child of Isaac "Ike" and Minnie Williford Martin of Cox's Mill, N.C. Her husband was the late Julius Eugene "J.E." Johnson of Blackmon's Crossroads, N.C. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Eastlan Baptist Church, Columbia, S.C.
She is survived by daughters, Betty J. Underwood of Greenville, S.C., Peggy J. Glass and husband, Jim, of Wilmington, N.C.; four loving grandchildren, Charles Eugene Underwood, Martin Edward Underwood and wife, Aimee, Michelle Ligon and husband, George, Samuel Johnson Glass; three great-grandchildren, Tiffany Diane Underwood, Sommer Lee Barnes, Isaac Alton Barnes; one great-great-granddaughter, Talyn Diane Altop; many special nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her.
Burial was at Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbia, S.C., on March 18, 2008.
