CLARICE G. WILDER
March 5, 1938-March 16, 2008
Clarice Grantham Wilder, 70, lovingly known by her family and friends as "Aunt Clarice," of 501 Woodrow St., Goldsboro, N.C., made her final transition on Sunday, March 16, 2008, at 9:30 a.m. at the E. Carlton Powell Hospice Center, Lillington, N.C. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Wilder.
Mrs. Wilder leaves precious memories to be cherished by her devoted daughter, Pamela Wilder Dudley and husband,
Adrian, of LaGrange, N.C.; two grandsons, Antonio and Quanderrio Wilder of the home; three sisters, Margaret G. Hubbard, Dorothy Grantham and Gloria Williams and husband, James, all of Goldsboro, N.C.; two brothers, James C. Grantham of Bridgeport, Conn., Curtis Grantham and wife, Shirley, of Aurora, Colo.
Eulogistic rites will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2008, at noon from the First African Baptist Church, 803 Harris St., Goldsboro, N.C. Pastor V. H. Hairston will officiate. Burial will follow in the Wayne Memorial Park Cemetery, North, on the Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, N.C.
A viewing will be conducted on Friday, March 21, 2008, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., Goldsboro, N.C. Also, a wake will be held on Friday, March 21, 2008, at Hamilton Funeral Chapel from 7 to 8 p.m. with the family in attendance to receive other family members and friends.
