LOLA B. PERKINS

PIKEVILLE -- Lola Bailey Perkins, 78, of 125 Circle Drive, died Monday at the Sterling House of Goldsboro. Born in Dillon, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Dr. R.M. and Edna B. Bailey and sister of the late Adris Jean Bailey. Mrs. Perkins was a member of Saulston United Methodist Church, the Methodist Women and the Saulston Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, March 19, at 7 p.m. at Saulston United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rick Ward officiating. Family members will remain at the church to receive friends and at other times will be at the home.

Mrs. Perkins is survived by her husband, Joseph D. Perkins; her son, Marvin Perkins and wife, Emily, of Pikeville; her daughter, Adris Anderson of Pikeville; six grandchildren, Joseph Perkins and wife, Brandi, Michael Perkins and wife, Liz, Damie Perkins, Robin Panowicz and husband, David, Max Smith and Madeline Smith; seven great-grandchildren, Doyle Perkins, Alexis Perkins, Adrian Perkins, Aiden Perkins, Kaylon Perkins, Hailey Panowicz and Lana Perkins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may directed to the Saulston United Methodist Church, 4620 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534.
