GERALDINE HUDSON HARVELL

Geraldine Hudson Harvell, 72, went to be with her Lord on Friday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
Geraldine was born in Duplin County on Aug. 12, 1935 to the late Earl Hudson and Susan Hobbs Hudson. She was a retired bookkeeper for Cobb Chevrolet and Life Incorporated. Geraldine was a member and past Lay leader at Jefferson United Methodist Church and held many offices over the years.
The funeral will be held Sunday March 9, 2008 at 6 p.m. at Jefferson United Methodist Church with the Rev. Doug Johnson officiating. A graveside service will be held Monday March 10, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Geraldine is survived by her loving husband, Davis Lee Harvell; her daughters, Sue Carter and husband, Stanley, of Goldsboro and Cathy Nichols and husband, Donald, of Goldsboro; and her grandchildren, Krystal Epps, Erica Nichols, Joshua Carter and wife, Ashley; great-grandson, Joshua Carter Jr.; and many special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jefferson United Methodist Church, 1100 N. Jefferson Ave., Goldsboro, N.C. 27534 or Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church and other times at her home, 402 Cardinal Drive, Goldsboro.
The family is being served by Seymour Funeral Home.
