RAEFORD -- Stephen Earl Conerly, 50, formerly of Pikeville, died Sunday at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born in Cumberland County to the late Bobby Conerly Sr. and Mattie Conerly.
One child survives.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hopewell United Methodist Church in Newton Grove with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The Rev. Jim Bailey will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C. 27834.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
