BOBBY MCGEE HONEYCUTT

Bobby McGee Honeycutt, 68, died on Saturday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Bobby was born in Johnston County to the late John Daniel Edwards and Theola Honeycutt. He was the owner and operator of Bobby's Upholstery in Goldsboro. He was a member of the Goldsboro Moose Lodge 661.

A service to celebrate his life will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Bailey officiating.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Jessie Ellen Turner Honeycutt; his children, Doug Honeycutt and wife, Kim, of Pikeville, Frankie Honeycutt of Dudley, Joyce McCrimmon and husband, Scott, of Clayton, Kim Reeves and husband, David, of Mount Airy, Paulette Jackson and husband, Sam, of Rosewood; his brothers and sisters, Rease Honeycutt, Donnie King, Lib Lassiter, Teresa Young, Sharon Pate, Harold Edwards; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Honeycutt.

Family requests no flowers, donations may be made to the Goldsboro Moose Lodge or the charity of one's choice.

The family will receive friends Monday at Seymour Funeral Home following the service and other times at his home, 1200 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro.
