KILL DEVIL HILLS -- Dorothy Virginia Crawford, 83, died Thursday, Feb. 14, in a Nags Head nursing home. Mrs. Crawford was born in Fremont and was a homemaker.
She was the daughter of the late James and Glennie Bailey Davis and the widow of the late Ellsworth Walter Crawford. Mrs. Crawford is survived by a son, Kenneth E. Crawford Sr. and wife, Kelly Anne, of Kill Devil Hills; a sister, Shirley Newsome of Fremont; a brother, Howard Davis of Goldsboro; and a grandson, Kenneth E. Crawford Jr. of Kill Devil Hills.
Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo is assisting the family with arrangements.
