KINSTON -- Nina Frances Riggs Smith, 82, died Tuesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. She was born in Cove City to the late I. Nelson Riggs Sr. and Willie Riggs.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Wesley Smith Sr.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange. Pastor Mike Dixon will officiate. Private family interment will be held at Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday following the service and at other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Sandy Bottom Baptist Church, 4568 Highway 55 West, Kinston, N.C. 28504.
