BYRON, Ga. -- Louise Sprinkle Brown, 83, passed away on Saturday.

Mrs. Brown was born in Macon, Ga. She retired from Woolworth (Newberry's-McCrory's) in Macon, where she worked in retail sales. She lived most of her life in Macon then moved to Ocala, Fla., where she lived for 15 years; she returned to Georgia after her husband's death in 1999. Her husband, Vic Brown, and parents, James and Annie Rittenberry, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Phillip Sprinkle and wife, Jo, of Titusville, Fla.; daughters, Judy McStay of Titusville, Fla., Peggi Tolbert and husband, Glenn, of Byron, Ga., Donna Morris and husband, Tony, of Goldsboro, N.C.; sister, Sara Crochet of Macon, Ga.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, from 7 to 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
