Frank Rowe Jr., 64, lovingly known by his family and friends as "June," of 147 Sandy Lane Road, Goldsboro, N.C., died on Monday at his residence.

June was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. and Essie Lillie Mitchell Rowe; his uncles, Roscoe, Jesse, Albert and Milford Mitchell; one brother-in-law, Pastor J. B. Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel Holloway Rowe of the home; two daughters, Diane Rowe of Spokane, Wash., Ella Rowe Henry and husband, George, of Clayton, N.C.; two brothers, Royal Freeman Rowe of Jacksonville, N.C., Lamont Rowe Sr. of Goldsboro, N.C.; two sisters, Lona Rowe Smith of Fort Washington, Md., Leona Rowe Ashford and husband, Felix, of Goldsboro, N.C.; five sisters-in-law, Hannah White, Delsorie H. Wooten, Marjorie Holloway, all of Goldsboro, N.C., Nora McCory and husband, Larry, of Fuquay- Varina, N.C., Annie Holloway of Raleigh, N.C.; four brothers-in-law; William Holloway of La-Grange, N.C., Elijah Jr. and wife, Ruby, Daries Holloway and wife, Edith, all of Raleigh, N.C., Joseph Holloway and wife, Barbara, of Goldsboro, N.C.; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild; three aunts; five uncles; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at noon from Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., Goldsboro, N.C. Pastor Alton D. Thompson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Johnson Cemetery, 2753 Arrington Bridge Road, Dudley, N.C. A viewing will be conducted on Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, at Hamilton Funeral Chapel from 1 to 7 p.m. Also, a wake will be held at Hamilton Funeral Chapel from 6 to 7 p.m. with the family present to receive other family members and friends.
