CALYPSO -- Mary Victoria Boykin, died Monday at SunBridge Rehabilitation Center for Mount Olive.
Mother Boykin's legacy will be celebrated in a homegoing service Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Holy Temple United Holy Church with the Rev. W.C. Elliott officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Carver Memorial Park.
She leaves so many loving and wonderful memories for her family to cherish; her son, Monte Sr. and his wife, Bettie, of Mount Olive, N.C.; her grandchldren, Tremonteo and her husband, Ronald Sr., of Winston-Salem, N.C., Monte Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Mount Olive, N.C., Sabrina and her husband, Warren, of High Point, N.C., Victor and his wife, Stephanie, of Mount Olive, N.C., Wanda Altman and husband of Fayetteville, N.C.; her great-grandchildren, Avon and his wife, Leearnettra, Deo, Krystal, Ronald Jr., Margo, Ashley, Montrina, Allison, Destiny, Maya; one great-great-granddaughter, Imani; one sister, Stella Lancaster of New Bern, N.C., godchildren, Doris Ann Loftin, Darlene McNair, Gloria Walls; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Friday at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Mount Olive.
An inspirational wake will be 7-8 p.m. Friday at the church.
