PRINCETON -- Sheila Weaver Gurley, 47, of 40 Boardwalk Road, died Thursday at Duke Medical Center in Durham. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, at Whitley Church with the Rev. Ferrell Hardison and the Rev. Andy Stoval officiating. The burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Cooper Van Gurley; sons, Bradley Gurley of Durham, Daniel Gurley of the home; parents, the Rev. Samuel L. and Joyce Weaver of Princeton; brother, the Rev. Samuel Weaver Jr. of Raleigh; sisters, Jean Bragg of Goldsboro and Wanda Gardner of Goldsboro.
Although flowers are welcome the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Whitley Church.
The family will be receiving friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday evening, Jan. 26, 2008, at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
