JULIA S. TYNDALL

Julia Mae Stanley Tyndall, 88, of Kirkwood Retirement Community, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Tyndall was born in Wayne County to the late Tom and Myrtie Wiggins Stanley. She was wife of the late Walter Tyndall Jr. and was a member of Victory Free Will Baptist Church. She had worked as a private duty sitter and was a former volunteer with Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services will be held Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at 4 p.m. from Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Fred Crank and the Rev. George Lee officiating.

Mrs. Tyndall is survived by three children, Janice Marie Tyndall, of Walstonburg, Linda Gray and husband, Eugene, of Goldsboro, Donald Ray Tyndall of Goldsboro; five grandchildren, Robbie Reeves, Walt Tyndall and wife, Pam, Ricky Gray, Tracy Gray and wife, Rhonda, Dawn Norris and husband, Danny; nine great-grandchildren, Brooke, Jacob, McKenzie, Adam, Chelsea, Jamie, Shawn and Brandon; one great-great-grandchild, Olivia.

Mrs. Tyndall will lie in state at Rouse Funeral Home until 3 p.m. today. The family will receive friends following the graveside service and at other times they will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Gray, 200 Amblewood Lane, Goldsboro.
