Brenda Allen Mitchell, 59, of Pinkney Road, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro. She was born in Bladen County to the late H.B. and Margaret Allen.
She is survived by her husband, Elwood Mitchell.
Funeral will be 7 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. Dr. Richard Glosson will officiate. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mitchell Family Cemetery located on Old Kenly Road. Visitation will follow the funeral service at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home and other times at the home of Pauline Mitchell, 1341 Old Kenly Road, Pikeville.
