SMITHFIELD -- Maude Rose Toler Capps, 90, died Thursday evening in Johnston Memorial Hospital. Born Nov. 14, 1917, in Johnston County, she was a daughter of the late Sidney E. and Rose Ingram Toler. She was the widow of Herman W. Capps.
Funeral will be 4 p.m. today in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma, with the Revs. Dennis Pollock and Percy Coleman officiating. Burial will be in the Baker's Chapel Church Cemetery.
Surviving are eight children.
Parrish Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
