WALTER N. JACKSON

GLOUCESTER, Va. -- Walter N. Jackson, 84, died Monday at his home. He was a native of North Carolina, a Virginia resident since 1961, and a Gloucester resident since 1989. He served in the U.S. Merchant Marine. Walter retired from U.S. Civil Service with 30 years service. He was a member of Beulah Baptist church.
He was preceded in death by his son, Steve Jackson.
Walter is survived by his wife, Cleon Grice Jackson; a daughter, Susan Gray, her son, Michael and wife, Molly, and son, Ayden Van Horn, her daughter, Crystal and husband, Jason, and son, Breckin and daughter, Brenna Harvey; a son, Gary Jackson and wife, Stephanie, their daughter, Andrea, and sons, Christopher and Anastasia Jackson, Patrick and wife, Tiesha, their sons, Kyle and Marc Jackson, Clinton, Heather and daughter, Abigail Jackson.
A funeral will be held at noon Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, at Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, Va., with burial at 3 p.m. in Peninsula Memorial Park.
