BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Mathew "Mat" Evans died on Tuesday at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn. He was born to the late Hannah and John Evans of Willard.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie, and two children.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Willard Chapel Baptist Church, Willard. Burial will follow at the Evans Family Cemetery, Willard. Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Funeral Home of Rose Hill.
