EVA G. FALKENHAGEN

MOUNT OLIVE -- Eva Gilroy Falkenhagen, 81, died Monday morning at SunBridge Care Center.

Born in Chippewa County, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Jessie Robinson Gilroy and the widow of Leonard G. Falken-hagen. She was a member of the Mount Olive congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Wade Allison of Asheville, and Carol and Jerry Gregory of Mount Olive; a son, Roger Falkenhagen of Michigan; six grandchildren, Teresa Turbybill, Glenda Creech, Pamela Jarman, Christopher Falkenhagen, Robert Falkenhagen and Carrie Falkenhagen; nine great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grand-children. Her family also wishes to acknowledge Pat Anderson and Lois Hobson for their untiring efforts to provide care for their loved one.

A service of remembrance is to be held Thursday at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home, with Elder J.D. Newman officiating, with visitation after the service. At other times, the family will receive friends at the Gregory residence at 750 Country Club Road, Mount Olive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930 B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C. 27834.

CORA HALL

Died Dec. 30, 2007

Cora Lee Dobson Hall, 78, of Beulaville, died Sunday at Kenansville Health and Rehabilitation, Kenansville.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at Church of God and True Holiness, Beulaville, with Elder Lynn Beanum officiating.

Burial will follow at the Hall Family Cemetery, Beulaville.

A visitation of family and friends will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
